Enjoyed by a lone duck

March 27, 2014 at 18:08
You missed the opportunity to make an additional pun about Cold Duck! You’re slipping, Lady Fi! :-)
I’ll raise my glass to the second photo in particular. The play of the wind on the water is superb and adds a great deal to the atmosphere and that poor shivering duck.

Beautiful shot. As usual. I love your skies.

March 27, 2014 at 22:46
I like the way the water is so calm on one side of the pier and so choppy on the other. I see the duck is heading for calmer waters! Lovely colors, Fi.

A beautiful post — wonderful colors as your lake always seems to have in any weather. You are forgiven for the pun (I like puns).
March 28, 2014 at 23:32
So the ice is off of the lake, that’s quick. Seems like you had a good winter, wonderful.
March 29, 2014 at 01:11
Well, It wasn’t good because it was too mild and short. On the other hand, it was quite nice not to have to shiver our way through six months of snow.
March 29, 2014 at 07:13

March 30, 2014 at 01:28
We had just the faintest hint of purple and pink in our sunset tonight, yet even a little color goes a long way to create happiness.

If its good enough for a duck – who am I to argue!
