The cold temperatures have coated my world with …
… delightful frosty beards,
delicious sugar-coated berries
and an amazing waterfall of ice.

Look at that face!!! Can you say no to him? I would think not! We have snow and I MIGHT take pictures but they look SOOOO much better on your blog!
January 10, 2011 at 16:55
I love the berry pics.
January 10, 2011 at 17:39
Brrr…Baby it’s cold outside
January 10, 2011 at 17:56
the berries look amazing.
January 10, 2011 at 18:27
Beautiful photos as always. Today we have snow, about 7 to 8 inches. I’m not a snow person so you can image. I had much rather enjoy the snow through your beautiful photos.

January 10, 2011 at 21:05
Fantastic shots. Dog is cute.
January 10, 2011 at 21:09
Helt underbart porträtt! Huset är verkligen draperat med ett vackert draperi.
I love the icicles on his furry little chin!
January 10, 2011 at 21:10
Those icicles are amazing…and a bit scary!
January 10, 2011 at 21:11
Brilliant shots! Your photos are really taken by a professional! Thanks for your visit.
January 10, 2011 at 21:14
Those berries look delicious, but surely you don’t have edible berries that grow in that weather. Because if you do, I am so there! And I’ll kiss that cute puppy face, too.
January 10, 2011 at 21:49
They’re rowan berries – so not edible, but a lovely splash of colour in winter!
January 11, 2011 at 05:24
Oh, the lighting and colours and compositions are just marvelous. A true winter wonderland.
Your dog is a beauty, and so is his frotsy beard. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

how beautifully your captured these shots. two thumbs up.
hope it’s not too cold to go out and shoot.
January 10, 2011 at 21:59
The adorable dog seems to be pleading for warmth. His frosty beard is cute, though. Little patches of ice and icicles are so beautiful to look at and such great subjects for photographs. Thanks for sharing your chilly wintry world!
January 10, 2011 at 22:47
Beautiful shots…thanks for sharing with us!
January 10, 2011 at 22:55
I just love your dog. He looks so much like our girl Lindy. She was out in very deep snow today and didn’t seem to mind it a bit.
Thanks for sharing your winter with us, now I don’t feel quite so bad about mine. Your icicles are MUCH longer! :~)

I was wondering if the berries were edible. They remind me of a berry I used to see in Denmark as a kid. I forgot the name. Your photos are outstanding as usual.
January 10, 2011 at 23:28
They’re rowan berries – vivid but not edible. (Rönnbär in Swedish.)
January 11, 2011 at 05:41
Looks like Oscar has a questioning look – probably wants to stop posing and go roll in the snow! Those icicles are growing – my husband keeps knocking ours down.
January 10, 2011 at 23:40
Fabulous snow pics – we love Oscar in particular!
January 10, 2011 at 23:52

January 11, 2011 at 03:43
What a beautiful dog! The contrast of the ice and red berries is so outstanding!
I am in serious love with your photographs. My favorite is the first one of the dog. Is that your puppy?

True….strangers could be new friends.
Later on, when somebody asks…”so how did you two become friends?”
He’d say…”she slapped me with her gloves!….”

I like the icicles. I am now wearing my T shirt and shorts, because it is summer here. LOL
January 12, 2011 at 00:18
Good to see I’m not the only one with jousting lances growing from her roof!
And PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPY! What a cute shot!
January 12, 2011 at 01:02
These aren’t my icicles, but this same house has such enormous ones every year I couldn’t help but sneak a pic!
January 12, 2011 at 05:48
The dog and the berries make for absolutely lovely photographs.
The waterfall of ice makes me worry for the homeowner, since my experience tells me that those icicles mean an ice dam, which leads to a very leaky roof… YIKES!
January 12, 2011 at 01:40
Adorable and gorgeous!!
January 12, 2011 at 02:09
What a sweet puppy face! Beautiful photos – I’m jealous of all the snow. All we have is cold here in central Texas!
January 12, 2011 at 02:59
Oscar does look like Daisy!!!
January 12, 2011 at 03:22
