I wonder how this poor cat got stuck up that tree? Can you see it – its silhouette dark against the bright branches?

I don’t want to point any fingers…
… but I have a pretty good idea who might be behind this…
A certain someone who looks as if he was innocently enjoying a long walk…

Who - me? I'm innocent!
If he is innocent though – why the guilty look?

He looks innocent to me!
I think the cat was after a bird, got stuck, and was just looking for a scape dog to blame. :p

I’m sure he’s innocent, cats just like to climb and then are afraid to come down. Silly creatures!

I hope he came down safely. Sorry for not visiting lately, been so busy helping sis to prepare her son’s wedding.

Well, if the poor kitty was here, he would be way up a tree thanks to our german shepherds. I hope he gets down safely and I loved the photos.

I´m just seeing how cold it looks! Is that ice on the grass?

Hehe hope the poor cat can make it down, they seem better at the up part!

Well, I hope he makes it down okay. Great shots and I do know about the innocent look! We get a lot of those around here for a lot of different reasons!
Enjoy!

I suspect you could be correct
Hope they learn to get along one day! Thanks for visiting at Small Reflections this week.

I still say that he is innocent…no definite proof to show otherwise! LOL

He has guilt written all over that sweet face!!!

He definitely looks guilty!

Have i gone nuts? I cannot see Oscar in that photo..just a lousy path and some frost and some green and yellow trees..
Oscar would never chase a kitty on purpose..the kitty must have driven him over the edge.
What goes up must come down..and I have never seen kitty skeletons in the trees:)

For a moment there I thought it was one of the Carmine cats!

I remember Paddy chasing a cat up a tree on Ditchling common and actually climbing the first few branches of the tree after it!!

Hehe…well done

He does look pretty sheepish.
November 9, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Oh dear, don’t worry, the kitty will come down when it gets hungry!
November 9, 2009 at 7:15 pm
:-O
surely some other dog was responsible? Or a fox, maybe?
(Bunnies in a Boat is something I painted this past weekend just because I wanted to but there is some sort of story to the painting… I decided to refer to it as an illustration even though there is no book… yet!

Guilty! I don’t even need to see the evidence:)
November 9, 2009 at 9:46 pm
They’re playing hide and seek!
November 10, 2009 at 5:21 am
Oh, that funny Oscar of yours – did you at least help rescue the cat? I’m most interested in “Shantaram”, now that you’ve reviewed it.

My rat terrier has only done that once to a cat. Fortunately, the tree was not too tall.
November 11, 2009 at 3:05 am
Yep, I think the cat was trying to blame the dog, and poor Oscar was innocent!
The countryside is beautiful there on your hike. Love the photo with Oscar!
November 12, 2009 at 3:17 am
I think you found your culprit!
November 12, 2009 at 3:59 am
Alibi or no alibi, I think we have our suspect in sight.
Fortunately, most cats get down out of trees as easily as they get up into them.

Of course he’s innocent hehehe
