A cup of wisdom

After yesterday’s disturbing plunge into something that I know nothing – nor care two figs – about: the world of fashion – I’m back onto safer ground in the form of a cup of spicy tea. This time, it’s the wonderful Black Chai tea, with black tea, Roiboos, fragrant cinnamon and a bit of spicy ginger pick-me-up.

The words of wisdom from the back of the box come from the teachings of Ganesha:

“Wisdom and faith can remove all obstacles and bestow both worldly and spiritual success and happiness.”

Be wise, be happy … and try not to stumble over too many obstacles in your path this weekend!

I reckon it must be the rooibos that makes you wise. Because it comes from SA and we are all wise, right?

  2. ladyfi Says:

Indeed, isn’t SA the fount of all wisdom?

  3. Po Says:

Oh yeah, and the cradle of human kind.

But you wouldn’t know it, listening to some of the politicians.

You really can’t go wrong with a cup of Rooibos. . .better to stay on safe ground. But now I’ll go back and see what I missed in your world of fashion! :-)

I need to become more adventurous with tea, I do the four red fruits, earl grey, and apple and cinnamon…play it safe…but there are so many interesting sounding teas…anything you can recommend for someone ready to plunge a little deeper into the world of tea???

Sharing a cup of tea, Ti Quan Yin for example as a way of apologizing for missing your birthday. In my case I do that on purpose, the missing that is, but there is no excuse for having missed reminding you to eat cake and smile a lot because it makes for better wrinkles later. Happy B-day Fi and many happy returns of the day!
